About Me

Hello! I’m Anne

I am so glad you’re here!  I started this blog because I wanted to help other overwhelmed moms save time and gain confidence doing the things they need to do so they can spend more time on the things they love to do.  If you’re the kind of mom who wishes she had more time to spend enjoying her family or recharging a bit, and spent less time cooking or doing chores without the house looking disastrous, you’re in the right place.

I am a wife and stay at home mom to a rambunctious toddler and a sweet little baby, and both of them are growing too fast! Being a mother has (so far!) been an amazing but also sanity testing journey, and I’m always looking for ways to make life with kid(s) a little easier so that I can have fewer days where I want to pull my hair out. There have been days I couldn’t tell you how old I am- I didn’t forget the year, and I’m actually very good at math- some days I’m just that brain fried!

The days where I get things done around the house, play with my kids, and have dinner ready at a decent time are the days that I feel great, and I want every mom to have more of those days. I want you to have more of those days.  I wanted to start this blog to have a place to put the tips, tricks, momhacks, easy recipes, and products that I wish I would have known about sooner out in the world. Here at Easier Motherhood my goal is to provide you with the information you need to make your job as Mom a little easier, a little less stressful, and a little less exhausting.

A few things you should know about me

I love sleeping in, not that I get to in this phase of life!

Dark chocolate and carbs are essential food groups to me.

I’m an engineer (told you I am good at math!) and in my pre-kid days wore steel toed boots and a hard hat daily.

My dryer almost always has laundry in it waiting to be folded.

I am a tea person.  Coffee smells fantastic but I just can’t get into drinking it.

My favorite way to unwind is with a sitcom, the cornier the better.

I let my kids have too much screen time, my little boy is especially fond of Daniel Tiger, and my daughter is instinctively drawn to Frozen.

My family is my world, they mean everything to me.
